For our second club night of the season, we’ll be heading out with our cameras for an evening of street photography in Fleet. Having explored Farnham and Aldershot over the past two years, this time we’ll be capturing the sights, sounds, and colourful lights of Fleet town centre after dark, and afterwards, we’ll gather for a drink and share our favourite images, observations, and experiences from the evening.
Club outings are a fun and informal way to meet fellow photographers, exchange ideas, and develop your skills. Whether you’re looking to improve your composition, experiment with low-light techniques, or simply enjoy photographing alongside others, there’s something for everyone. Inspired by the legendary Henri Cartier-Bresson, we’ll be keeping an eye out for that elusive “decisive moment”, the fleeting instant when everything comes together to create a memorable photograph.
We had a fantastic turnout! Ten of us made our way up and down the high street, snapping photos and soaking in the Fleet atmosphere after 8 p.m., along with the impressive machinery working on the main street. You’ll see the evening photos here soon.
